Baby it’s cold

Brrrrrrrrrr, Cadancers, have you felt the sting of that cold wintry air?  Check out these cutie patootie 7 year-olds dancing to Baby It’s Cold Outside to thaw out and put a smile on your face.

FALL SESSION WRAPPING UP
Only 3 weeks left of our 15-week fall session remains, so if you have missed classes to make up, plan on doing those soon. We have been busy learning choreography for our Beatles and Rolling Stones slated for May 30 and 31 next year.  Don’t worry if you have missed out on the Cadance sessions so far – we still have a few numbers to learn in the new year.  You can still be part of our show!  Participation is optional, so you can come just to dance with us during class if being on stage is not your thing.

NEW SESSION
Our winter session begins January 7 and runs 10 weeks until March 13.  We then pick up right away with another 10 weeks March 18-May 22 leading into our show.  If you would like to save 10% on the session, be sure to register and pay by December 19 (for example, for the 10-week jazz session, that’s only $144; when you register for Pilates AND jazz, that’s only $252 instead of $280!).  Be sure to check out our new schedule online (beginner/intermediate jazz will be 6:30-8:00 on Thursdays).

TO DO
Please check out La Fantaisie’s Cinderella on December 22 at 6:00 at Salle Marie-Gérin-Lajoie (UQAM).  I have choreographed several pieces for the group and they are really a talented group!  It’s an enjoyable show for the whole family, so don’t miss out.  I’ll see you there!

Until December 9, you can go check out the Marché Casse-Noisette, launched by Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, at Palais de Congrès.  I attended this weekend and found some great holiday gifts.  And the best part is that a portion of sales will go to the Nutcracker Fund which will allow underprivileged kids enjoy the beauty of dance by attending a performance of The Nutcracker!

Enjoy the holiday season and I’ll see you in class!
