COVID-19 Procedures

Your health and safety at the studio are our priority! That is why we have these COVID-19 safety procedures for every client and student. Here is what you need to know before you come to the studio.

vaccine passport
1) VACCINE PASSPORT
As of September 1, the vaccine passport is required of all clients and students. You will need to provide proof of vaccination along with one piece of ID to enter the studio. Either a Universal Dance Studio staff member or I will verify your status before class.
2) CONTACTLESS REGISTRATION/PAYMENTS
All students (even returning students) must fill out the online registration form/waiver. You can make your payment for the session/class preferrably in the Cadance Boutique or via e-transfer; cash/cheques also accepted.
3) COVID-19 DECLARATION
As of March 7, you will not be required to fill out the Covid declaration before each class. However, I do ask you to please stay home and join us virtually if you have symptoms or have had close contact with someone who has Covid.

4) WEAR A MASK DURING CLASS
Please note that well-fitting, non-mesh masks are required to attend class in studio. Masks MUST be worn covering the mouth, nose, and chin at all times entering/exiting and in the building including while dancing (except to eat/drink). If your mask regularly falls down under your nose or requires constant adjusting, we ask that you please use a different mask.

If you forget to bring a mask or if you have a mask malfunction, I have disposable masks available at the studio.

💡 Here are some great tips for masking up for Jazz and Pilates.
5) HAND HYGIENE
Before class, wash your hands with soap & water for ≥20 seconds. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the studio; please use it as necessary. Please also wash/sanitize your hands after class.
6) SOCIAL DISTANCING
Once you enter the studio, please respect the markings to keep your 2 meters distance and to ease the flow of traffic.

Ballrooms A (jazz) and B (Pilates) have been marked so you can stay within your own bubble. I will modify jazz warm-ups, exercises, and choreography to help maintain distance.
7) HAVE FUN!
I have all of these procedures in place because I care about the health and safety of my Cadancers! With all that in place, we can have fun together at the studio!!
8) VIRTUAL OPTIONS
If you’re not ready for in-studio classes or can’t make it to class one day, please join us online!

If you have any questions or concerns about this, please don’t hesitate to reach out to let me know!

let’s move together!
