March 21 – The Teaser
Do you remember The Weebles? “Weebles wobble, but they don’t fall down!” Well, that’s kinda’ how my Teaser was feeling here – I wobbled, but hey, I didn’t fall down! I’m doing the Stott Pilates Teaser 1 (legs diagonal), 2 (lower and lift legs) & 4 (figure eights). In #2, you should keep your torso still in space as the legs move. Whoops! And I biffed the arm choreo for the figure eights. Whoops-a-daisy!
I’m thankful that even though my Teaser isn’t perfect, I can still feel the work! And I’m thankful for the various Teaser preps I’ve learned this last year, like from Kathy Corey, Ton and Michael, and Kira Lamb!
